President Trump took to Twitter on Monday to ask whether “Fake News Media” will report on recent stock market highs.

“Dow hit a new intraday all-time high! I wonder whether or not the Fake News Media will so report?” Trump wrote in one tweet.

“Really great numbers on jobs & the economy! Things are starting to kick in now, and we have just begun! Don’t like steel & aluminum dumping!” Trump said in another tweet.

The Dow Jones industrial average hit a record high during trading Monday, closing nearly 130 points higher than it had started at in the morning.

The president’s tweet calling the news “Fake News Media” came after earlier tweets that saw the president attacking MSNBC hosts and showing a modified video of him body-slamming a man meant to represent CNN.

Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle and other news networks condemned the wrestling tweet for its violent message against the press.
